Honey Lime Shrimp Avocado Salad

This delicious healthy shrimp salad is a beautiful combination of sweet and sour. The recipe is perfect as a salad, with cauli rice or zoodles! Make this in 15 minutes and add it to your weekly meal prep rotation!

  • 0.5 lbs or 225g raw jumbo shrimp
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 lime
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp coconut aminos
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp ginger powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Salad ingredients

  • 2 spring onions chopped
  • 1/2 head of romaine lettuce
  • 2 bell peppers
  • 2 to matoes
  • 1 avocado


  1. In a bowl, add your shrimp, honey, limes, olive oil, aminos and seasonings. Mix together.
  2. Heat up a frying pan on medium- high heat. Add your shrimp and cook shrimp on each for 2 mins*
  3. Remove shrimp and leave sauce to cook for another 3-4mins.
  4. Add shrimp back to the pan and coat in the sauce.
  5. Once done, construct your salad and serve!

Recipe Notes

If using cooked shrimp, add all the shrimp ingredients to the pan without the shrimp. Cook for 3-4 mins till sauce is bubbly, then add shrimp into pan for 2 mins. Coat in the sauce and once done, simply serve and enjoy!
