Paleo Smoked Salmon Carbonara - smoked salmon, cherry tomatoes and courgettes (zucchini) tossed in a light, creamy white sauce plus no eggs involved!

  • ½ cup coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp pink himalayan salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 120 g smoked salmon (torn apart into little pieces, 0.26lb)
  • 3-4 cherry tomatoes (sliced halves, can be more)
  • 2 courgettes (spiralized)


  1. Bring coconut milk to boil in a medium sized saucepan.
  2. Add seasonings and turn down the heat to simmer for 5mins.
  3. Add in salmon, tomatoes and courgettes.
  4. Toss with tongs to mix.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Recipe Notes

Courgettes (zucchini) are known to let out a lot of water. I personally don’t mind this, the sauce is still delicious but just not as thick
