Homemade Earl Grey Blueberry Paleo Jam – delicious homemade blueberry jam without pectin and infused with Earl Grey Tea!
This Homemade Earl Grey Blueberry Paleo Jam is probably one of the best jams I’ve ever had! I am so in love with Earl Grey Tea and my favourite is one with an addition of Rooibos. However, I never ever considered infusing tea into food before! This homemade blueberry jam is the easiest, sweetest, juiciest jam without any pectin and perfect on some Paleo English Muffins / Crumpets!
I got the idea of infusing Earl Grey Tea from Christine @ MidLifeCroissant! She infused them in her delicious smoothie and I was like “I have to try this in something else!”. So, don’t be surprised if you catch a few tea infused recipes on my blog soon!
This paleo blueberry jam is made from frozen blueberries! Infact, I don’t think I’ve ever made jam with fresh fruit before – frozen is just easier to me! Plus, organic blueberries are expensive so buying them frozen is my next best alternative. Frozen blueberries are the same as fresh in terms of nutrition, as they need to be quick frozen straight after picking, therefore, I believe they are harvested exactly when ripe.

- 3 cup blueberries
- 2 cup earl grey tea (or 473ml, brewed for 5 mins)
- 1/4 cup raw honey
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Place all ingredients in a saucepan on high heat and bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat to a simmer and cook for 40-50 mins.
Use a hand blender or standing blender to pulse until smooth or a little chunky (or you can leave as is).
If you forget your sauce and the liquid has completely disappeared. Just brew a cup of earl grey tea, cool and pulse the leftover jam together with the liquid to increase the amount.
