10 Minute Walnut Apple Treat for One – sweet cooked apples topped with crunchy walnuts.
10 minute walnut apple treat for one
Boy, this recipe is so simple – you could literally make it right now. Well, if you have some apples; otherwise, you should go get some!
I tend to need quick treats. I guess when I have cravings, I don’t really want to take my sweet time baking something or freezing something – I sort of want the treat in me now! Maybe it isn’t the best approach to treats but hey, at least this treat is good for me!
You want to use some raw honey and I suggest coconut oil; you’ll get both healthy fats and antioxidants in you. Did I mention how effortless this is to make?
All you need are apples and walnuts to get started! So maybe I should name this a 4 Ingredient Apple treat instead?

While I was making this for myself, all I could think about was Denny Duquette. LOL. I know this was like, what 10 seasons ago but, I recently decided to start watching Grey’s Anatomy – from the beginning.
So I lived Denny all over again. It was painful and sad, but most of all, it left me confused. Was Izzie wrong? Would Denny have lived if he waited for another heart? Could he have survived that long without Izzie though?
So many questions. All of which are probably very – no infact, very irrelevant. Still, it was on my mind while I made this treat. Then, I made it and ate it and felt better about the world.
This 10 Minute Walnut Apple Treat for One may just make you feel better about the world – so try it!

10 minute walnut apple treat for one
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 2 apples (diced)
- 2 tsp - 1 tbsp raw honey*
- Pinch of Salt (I used Pink Himalayan)
- 2 tbsp milk (optional)
- Handful of walnuts
- Heat your coconut oil in a small pan, on medium heat.
- Add in your diced apples, honey, salt and milk (if you choose). Cook for 8 minutes until apples are soft and have a yellow - brown hue.
- Serve topped with walnuts and enjoy!
*Try 2 tsp honey at first and if you want it sweeter make it a tbsp!
You do not need to peel your apples - unless you choose.
If you would like your treat a little syrupy, you can add the milk - if not, don't worry!
Really it can be for one if you are happy to eat it all to yourself! But those calories may be good for sharing 🙂
