Paleo Strawberry Acai Smoothie Bowl – such a healthy, nourishing and simple breakfast!
Smoothie bowl for your thoughts? Something about having a refreshing smoothie bowl always makes me think about my health and wellness lifestyle. I came into the Paleo diet wanting to beat my health issues. Fast forward 2 years, I’m still going but not as strong as I know I should be.
For the past couple of months now, my eating habits have been all over the place. I developed a hunger to succeed in my career/creative life and sometimes, I completely neglected my health for it.
You see, in my mind, I’m at an age where I need to get things done, the ball needs to be halfway down the hill and I need to have some serious results. So with this foolish mindset, I ended up neglecting myself, my health and my wellbeing. Skipping meals, reaching for a bag of crisps and just ruining all the legwork in terms of beating my health issues.
I know it sounds bonkers; I run a Paleo blog, yet my eating habits were ridiculously side-tracked. But, I feel like I’m not the only one to go through this, it always seems that there is something more important to do than cook a healthy meal or eat at least three meals a day.
However, there’s a light at the end of this tunnel. I have learnt so much in my “struggle” and now I realise that there will be no career/creative life if I’m not alive to live it (woah). I need to always put myself, health and well-being first before I try to figure out anything else.
I’m not going to do a Whole30, I’m not going to juice – none of that. I’m simply going to put my health first in every single moment. As long as I can make sure to continuously nourish my body, I’ll definitely get back to the blissful feeling that the Paleo diet gives me.

- 1 cup of frozen strawberries
- 1 frozen banana
- 250 ml /1 cup of coconut milk
- Optional: 1/2 cup of spinach
- 1 - 2 tsps acai powder
- Paleo granola of your choice
- Fruit of your choice
Simply pop in your blender and process. You can opt to blend the acai in the smoothie or top!
