Mango Kiwi Lime Green Smoothie Bowl – blended mango, kiwi, lime juice, spinach and kale. A perfect way to start your day!
Mango Kiwi Lime Green Smoothie Bowl
Smoothie bowls are now a staple, regular breakfast meal for me. Add to that nicecreams, I hardly ever chew my breakfasts lol! I find them a great way to incorporate veggies and superfoods, in a way that I wouldn’t normally be able to. My favourite thing is to pour some Acai Berry or Baobab onto my smoothie bowls or mix them in, to create some really unique flavour.
This Mango Kiwi Lime Green Smoothie Bowl is just one of the many smoothie bowl recipes you can conjur up. Sometimes, I hardly go by a recipe and just throw whatever I have into my Nutribullet. This works 90% of the time – broccoli can only go so far lol!
Top with acai berry for a superfood boost!
They are really easy and quick to make, taking you anything from 5-10 minutes, depending on whether you care about taking a picture of the bowl lol. You can top with whatever you have on hand; nuts, shredded or dessicated coconut, fruit etc. They are also perfect for when you have a horrible wisdom tooth growing out the back of your mouth!
Easy, quick and refreshing is a perfect way to start your day.
If you’ve been following my latest posts, I mentioned that I’m on a Whole30. Well, I sort of slipped up and had some coconut sugar in a cooler I was testing. I mean, it’s really hard to run a food blog with drinks and dessert on your mind when you’re on a Whole30. To be honest though, I wasn’t exactly pining for this Whole30 – eating my Paleo way seems to be enough for me.
Is it weird though that I have no problems doing a juice cleanse but I can’t pull off a Whole30? Yeah, that’s super weird. I might give myself another shot at it, sometime in the future. For now, I’m going to have a mug cake.

Mango Kiwi Lime Green Smoothie Bowl
- 1/2 frozen mango
- 1 kiwi
- 1/2 cup of frozen spinach
- 1/2 cup of kale
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 cup of coconut or almond milk
- 1 tsp of raw honey or a couple of dates (optional)
-
Process your ingredients in a blender, or a small food processor.
-
Pour into a bowl, top with whatever you have on hand.
-
Enjoy!
You can alternate which fruits and veg are frozen (or all can be frozen). Just make sure at least two of the ingredients are frozen to ensure the heat from your blender doesn't "cook" the nutrients.
