Paleo Summer Grapefruit Peach Raspberry Smoothie – refresh yourself this summer with this sweet and cooling drink!
Jump to RecipeI don’t know if you can tell but I’ve been packing myself silly with courgettes and smoothie bowls. Seriously, the food you see on my blog is exactly what I make at home – you could probably gauge where I’m at with my taste buds by just looking at my latest posts. As I explained, my eating habits have been a bit of mess lately so I’m trying to work my way back to optimal.
This Paleo Summer Grapefruit Peach Raspberry Smoothie is a warm-weather, healthy but sweet recipe which I absolutely adore. I don’t get to have peaches much because they’re barely in season in the UK but when they are, they are plump and fabulous hunny!
Grapefruit is a funny little fruit, I mean, it’s not completely sweet or sour but it has a slightly sweet and sour taste. Would you agree? However, the bitterness is something to behold. If you can eat a grapefruit on it’s own then I think you’re a bit of legend LOL. I have found that segmenting the grapefruit removes the bitterness!
With a smoothie this rich in vitamins and antioxidants, you’ll probably feel like you couldn’t catch a cold for the next 5 years!
I’ve been super busy in my life lately, I apologise if you’ve been back here a few times, only to catch the same featured recipe on the home page. I can’t say that I will be posting more often but this is because I’ve been working on some other things in my life! Like, how I’m starting up a catering businessy thing-a-ma-jig. Had my first client yesterday and it went so well! I already want another..
As smooth as cool peachess.. or a Summer Grapefruit, Peach and Raspberry Smoothie.
- 1 Grapefruit
- 1 Peach
- 1 Cup Frozen Raspberries
- ½ cup of Coconut Milk or any milk you like
-
Process the ingredients in a high powered blender till smooth.
-
Enjoy!
Segmenting your grapefruit will help remove most of the bitterness of this fruit! Takes a little longer but if you're not a fan of the bitterness, I suggest it!

July, 2017 at 10:38 PMI love a good smoothie, and I’m always looking for new combinations. The grapefruit would be great for cutting the sweetness of the other fruits!

July, 2017 at 4:22 AMI would say I am not a grapefruit fan. Perhaps pairing it with raspberries would help. Love the colour of this smoothie, and the flavours are summer perfect for sure.

July, 2017 at 1:05 PMYes, I have found that segmenting the grapefruit and pairing with the raspberries definitely combats the bitterness, but it’s delicious!
