I don’t know if you can tell but I’ve been packing myself silly with courgettes and smoothie bowls. Seriously, the food you see on my blog is exactly what I make at home – you could probably gauge where I’m at with my taste buds by just looking at my latest posts. As I explained, my eating habits have been a bit of mess lately so I’m trying to work my way back to optimal.

This Paleo Summer Grapefruit Peach Raspberry Smoothie is a warm-weather, healthy but sweet recipe which I absolutely adore. I don’t get to have peaches much because they’re barely in season in the UK but when they are, they are plump and fabulous hunny!

Grapefruit is a funny little fruit, I mean, it’s not completely sweet or sour but it has a slightly sweet and sour taste. Would you agree? However, the bitterness is something to behold. If you can eat a grapefruit on it’s own then I think you’re a bit of legend LOL. I have found that segmenting the grapefruit removes the bitterness!

With a smoothie this rich in vitamins and antioxidants, you’ll probably feel like you couldn’t catch a cold for the next 5 years!

I’ve been super busy in my life lately, I apologise if you’ve been back here a few times, only to catch the same featured recipe on the home page. I can’t say that I will be posting more often but this is because I’ve been working on some other things in my life! Like, how I’m starting up a catering businessy thing-a-ma-jig. Had my first client yesterday and it went so well! I already want another..

As smooth as cool peachess.. or a Summer Grapefruit, Peach and Raspberry Smoothie.

Not to worry Swathi, a little time taken to segment the grapefruit will cut through the bitterness easy 😉

Oh my god, look at that color! Looks delicious and Definitely me no legend, I cannot eat a grapefruit as such!!! But love them juiced!! I bet the raspberries and coconut milk must mask that bitterness so beautifully

It really does – it cuts through a tad but the taste overall is very palatable!

I love a good smoothie, and I’m always looking for new combinations. The grapefruit would be great for cutting the sweetness of the other fruits!

All you had to do was say grapefruit and my mouth started watering. Love peaches so the combination would be amazing. How refreshing on a hot summer day. I’m looking forward to trying the treat.

I would say I am not a grapefruit fan. Perhaps pairing it with raspberries would help. Love the colour of this smoothie, and the flavours are summer perfect for sure.

Yes, I have found that segmenting the grapefruit and pairing with the raspberries definitely combats the bitterness, but it’s delicious!
