Kiwis, Celery, Romaine Lettuce and Carrots make up this Kiwi Salad Juice Recipe.
Day 6 of my Juice Cleanse and I am SO ready to eat some food! I rate everyone of those hardcore juicers that go on for 14, 21 even 60 days! It isn’t easy so much applause to you!
I can’t lie, as much as I’m so ready to get back to eating; I am so thankful for this time to reset, detox and get back to my 95% Paleo living lol.
This week it’s my birthday and I’m already planning all the different recipes I’m going to cook up for my friends! I’m actually not really a birthday party person; I haven’t had a big bash since I was 10. I think when I was turning 20 (or could have been 21), I tried to plan a large gathering at my house but I totally chickened out at the last minute.
This year though, I decided to do something small, at the very least! My juice cleanse propelled this decision with all the food that I want to make lol. Basically, I’m only doing something for my birthday so I can cook lots of food with no leftovers!
I’m a weirdo I know. Seriously though, am I the only one that doesn’t really like the fuss about birthdays? It’s great when you’re young but I’m getting older and I just don’t see the point really. I’d rather treat myself to a spa day, a little spa getaway or just a nice dinner and a movie.
Oh well, back to this Kiwi Salad Juice Recipe – this is definitely a recipe for a JUICE CLEANSE (duh) and what I mean by that is, it tastes delicious but it isn’t meant to be sweet. You can certainly add a few more kiwis and even another pear but if you are juicing, this is perfect for you. Also, it’s meant to equate to one serving for a juice cleanse but if you aren’t on one then this should provide 2-3 servings.
As I said in my Berry Cherry Green Detox Smoothie post, I will be posting a few more juice recipes and I might even give you a peek into what I cooked up for my birthday (yes all recipes will follow).
Oh, it’s 13th January (Wednesday: the actual day I was born) for anyone who would love to wish me a great year ahead haha. Juicers let me know what you think of this one!
- 2 Kiwis
- 1 Pear
- 1/2 Cucumber
- 3 Carrot
- 1/2 Lemon
- 1 head of Romaine Lettuce
- 3 Celery Stalks
- 3 Leaves Sprigs of Mint
- Knuckle of Ginger
-
Cut all your produce down to the right size to fit your juicer. Add them all in - alternating soft produce with hard produce until juiced.
-
Enjoy!

I like the recipe, – will try this combination. I hate celery though.- It has such a strong smell. I just can’t get pass it! Lol!!

March, 2016 at 8:05 PMAha, yes just juice! I mean, it was quite the challenge not to eat the fruits by mistake lol! The trick is to drink as much juice as you can! Listen, even a 1 day cleanse is a good thing – this juice would be so great for that! Oh, you could totally opt for adding a bit more cucumber instead! Thanks for stopping by Missy May! 🙂
